Bowel screening could save your life
THIS Bowel Cancer Awareness Month the NSW Government is urging eligible people to take the bowel screening test, with only 35.6 per cent of people from the South West Sydney Local Health District who receive the kit taking the test.

TRAFFIC CONDITIONS AT CAMPBELLTOWN
ROAD users are advised of changed overnight traffic conditions from Sunday 1 June at the intersection of Moore-Oxley Street and Broughton Street, Campbelltown for pedestrian safety improvement work.
The work will involve installing new arrow lanterns on the existing traffic light poles to allow pedestrians to more safely cross the intersection while holding motorists on red arrows and installing new traffic signal infrastructure, within the footpath and road area.
Work will be completed between Sunday June 1 and Friday 15 August 15, 2025, weather permitting. Workers will be on site for up to18 night shifts, between Sunday and Thursday, 8pm and 5am, the next day.
No work will be carried out on Friday and Saturday nights or on the Monday June 9 public holiday.
There will be temporary traffic changes to make sure the work zone is safe. Lane closures and a 40km/h speed limit will be in place for the safety of our workers and motorists.
Traffic controllers will be on site to assist motorists and pedestrians.
