A NSW free legal service will help sexual assault victim-survivors across NSW understand their rights and navigate the justice system. The $1.74 million Sexual Assault Survivors’ Legal Service, delivered by Legal Aid NSW, offers advice on reporting to police, criminal proceedings, subpoenas and related matters. It also helps health professionals respond to requests for counselling and medical records that may be protected by law.
