LIBERAL candidate for Camden Mick Willing has welcomed a NSW Liberal election commitment to introduce a $100 vehicle registration rebate, describing it as practical cost-of-living relief for local families. Under the proposal, motorists would be eligible to claim a $100 rebate on the registration of up to two privately used vehicles from 2027. Mr Willing said Camden residents, who rely heavily on cars for work, school and daily travel, would benefit from the initiative amid rising living costs. Opposition Leader Kellie Sloane said the policy would ease pressure on household budgets, while Shadow Roads Minister Mark Coure said it would offset increasing registration costs.
