Public invited to comment on energy prices
NSW electricity and gas customers are being invited to share their experiences as IPART reviews the state’s retail energy markets. The regulator is examining prices, competition, affordability and consumer participation, including the growing use of virtual power plants. IPART says energy prices have risen faster than inflation in recent years, placing pressure on households and businesses. Its 2025–26 Energy Market Monitoring Report will be submitted to the Energy Minister in November.
