Atura Oran Park opens as new hospitality hub for South West

SOUTH Western Sydney’s growing tourism and hospitality sector has received a major boost with the official opening of Atura Oran Park, a contemporary hotel designed to become a destination for visitors, businesses and residents.
Developed through a partnership between EVT Hotels & Resorts and the Perich family, the hotel introduces premium accommodation, Italian-inspired dining, conference facilities and resort-style leisure experiences to the heart of Oran Park.
The opening coincides with a significant period of transformation across Western Sydney, driven by the opening of Western Sydney International (Nancy-Bird Walton) Airport, creating new opportunities for tourism, business travel and regional investment.
Located within one of Australia's largest master-planned communities, Atura Oran Park is positioned to serve the growing population of the Macarthur region while attracting interstate and international visitors.
Area general manager Shannon Craig (pictured home page) said the hotel reflected the ambition and energy of Western Sydney.
"Atura Oran Park reflects the energy and ambition of one of Australia's fastest-growing regions, creating a place where locals and visitors can come together for business, celebrations, events and memorable stays," Ms Craig said.
The hotel's architecture, designed by Studio SC, and interiors by Nic Graham celebrate Oran Park's famous motorsport heritage.
A standout attraction is a sculptural installation by internationally acclaimed Indonesian artist Ichwan Noor, featuring a Holden Torana A9X transformed into a near-perfect cube.
Inspired by Peter Brock's legendary racing car, the artwork pays tribute to the former Oran Park Raceway and its place in Australian motorsport history.
Another installation by Sydney artist George Buchanan uses thousands of donated toy cars, planes and trains to create a large-scale depiction of the Nepean River at sunset.
Motorsport-inspired carpets, murals, photography and decorative features continue the theme throughout the property.
New dining destination
The hotel's signature restaurant, Tavola, introduces modern Italian dining to Oran Park, with a menu highlighting seasonal ingredients and local suppliers.
Dishes include wood-fired pizzas, blue swimmer crab linguine, Riverina Black Angus rib eye and traditional pork and veal meatballs.
The restaurant and bar cater for everything from casual dining and business lunches to special celebrations.
Accommodation includes contemporary king and twin rooms, accessible rooms and spacious suites designed for families and extended stays.
Selected suites feature separate living areas, kitchenettes and washing machines, while guests have access to high-speed Wi-Fi, smart televisions and 24-hour room service.
A heated outdoor swimming pool and terrace provide additional leisure facilities throughout the year.
Boost for business events
Atura Oran Park also aims to establish itself as a major destination for conferences, weddings and corporate events.
Seven flexible event spaces accommodate gatherings ranging from 12 to 500 guests.
The flagship Grandstand venue can host up to 500 people, while smaller meeting rooms and private dining spaces cater for business functions and intimate celebrations.
Greenfields Development Company Director Mark Perich said the opening represented another milestone in Oran Park's development.
"More than a hotel, it will support the area's continued growth while providing a place for residents, businesses and visitors to meet, celebrate and stay," Mr Perich said.
The development strengthens Oran Park's emerging town centre and adds another hospitality offering to Western Sydney's expanding visitor economy.
